Lacto-ovo vegetarian – exclude animal products but include dairy
and eggs

Lacto vegetarian – exclude animal products but include dairy

Ovo vegetarian – exclude animal and dairy products but include
eggs

Vegan or Total Vegetarian – use only plant-based foods, may also
exclude honey
·
Flexitarian or Semi-vegetarian – use a plant-based foods most of
the time but will include animal, dairy, and egg products on
occasion
